Utah Concealed Firearms Permit Course

Hey Everybody,

Just letting you know that we will be hosting a class for the Non-Resident Utah Concealed Firearms Permit Course at Christian Soldier. We will be having the class tomorrow, Saturday, February 19th. Check-in is at 5:30pm and class will go from 6pm - 9pm.

The course is a Conceal/Carry class that is recognized in 34 states. Here is a map that shows which states recognize this permit http://publicsafety.utah.gov/bci/FAQother.html

The course consists of the following: Safe Handgun Handling Rules, Nomenclature, Ammunition, Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting, How to Carry Concealed Options, and Overviews of Aggressive Behavior Management, Use of Force Continuum, and Federal, State, & Local Laws.

The cost of the course is $100 which includes instruction, photos, fingerprinting, and shipping & handling to Utah.
The permit application fee is an additional $65.25. This is a non-refundable payment to the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification. They accept checks, money orders, or credit cards (Visa & Mastercard).

The course is valid for 5 years and only $10 to renew.
